I need a JOB.

I feel so lifeless now. Everyday the same routine. I'm getting bored of it. I just don't want to spend my holiday doing nothing. My life is so empty right now. Haih.

Anyway, I did bought a new pair of shoes the other day. It's not branded. It's neither a Vincci heels nor a Nose flats. It's from Harajuku shop in Sg Wang. ;D Yea. It's so cool. Will post it up when I'm free.

I bought 2 more belts. And my nails are currently blue in color. ;)

Amanda said it looks like watercolor and I'm loving it (and Epik High too)!

Note: Long rant ahead due to the recent fuel price increase. Partly microeconomics-influenced rant.

The title of the article says, "Fuel Price Hike A Good Thing" or something like that.

I stared at the article's title for a moment before reading it. Heh. From the title itself, any rational person/business student would know that a price hike is not a good thing. It's misleading. It's called INFLATION and there are writers out there believing that an increase (note: an astronomical 40% increase) in fuel price will help the economy or some sort in a way. I'm confused.

Some argued that in a way, the government may improve public transports' services for the citizens since more people are trying to minimize the effect of the price hike impact by driving less and using other means to get to their destination. That's one of the reason to celebrate the reason of fuel hike. Better public transports. Oh, we get to save on tax payable too! Oh how great! *roll eyes*

Talking about public transports. There isn't one near or around my housing area. My housing area is secluded. The nearest bus stop is pretty far. I would not want to climb up the hill (which takes around 15 minutes), down the hill (which should take around 10 minutes) and walk for another 5 minutes before reaching the bus stop. Total of 30 minutes walk. Good exercise but I will definitely not do it early in the morning or any other time of the day due to fact that my housing area is surrounded by fierce dogs. Dogs that bite, ignoring the fact whether you have provoke it or not. Dogs that are a little bit crazy. My survival rate of getting to the bus stop safely is estimated to be 20%. I would rather cancel all my appointments and stay at home than risking of getting rabbies if I have gotten bitten by the dogs. Anyway, enough about me, time to get back on track.

Have they ever thought about retired parents/low-income-earning families that need to support their children through college, repaying housing loans, repaying car loans and etc? The 40% increase in fuel price reduced their purchasing power significantly (Yeah, don't you think most of the money is used to refill the car tanks?). There is an overall increase in the prices of food and other consumable items. Does it mean the they becomes poorer? A portion of their income is now being sliced up to cope with the increase in overall prices and therefore making them poorer.

'Price hike is a good thing' supporter will say, "You can always cut back and spend wisely!"

Cut back. Yea sure. But how well does the plan works? Imagine a person who spends the most minimal to survive by planning his/her spending wisely, shopping for his/her basic needs at Giant, Tesco or Carrefour, takes public transport to work and at the end of the month, he/she is left with a small portion of income to be saved for rainy days. Now look, with the increase in prices, he/she got to churn out an amount of money to cover for the extra charges from the leftover income which will leave he/she a lesser income that can be saved. How much can he/she cut back since he/she does not spend his/her money to live a "lavish" lifestyle? He/she is desperate. How can he/she survive the effect physical, emotionally and psychologically?

I'm emotionally distrubed now since I belong to the retired-parents-supporting-the whole-family category. I'm worried about my parents' futures and my future as well. Hopefully the fuel crisis will be resolved soon. I'm tired of all those "OPEC not pumping more oil" news.

It seems that I'm starting to turn into one of the shoes and bags lover.

A long long time ago, I don't see the point of turning into one of them. I don't see the point of getting so many bags and shoes. I mean, why do they spend so much money on them anyway? Boy I was wrong.

I can't walk pass any shoes and bags shops without letting out a squeal and then go "Ahhh shoes!" or "Ahh bags!". Sometimes I overdid it by going "Ah shoes!" or "Ah bags!" too many times whenever I pass a shop or many shops in my context. I can sense that my friends felt annoyed and the only way to shut me up is to tape my mouth. Ha ha.

I'm turning into one of them. Never expected it nor did I forsee this was coming. But I'm not a maniac bag/shoes shopper. I have a wonderful and strong self control over bags/shoes (but not clothes. i love good looking clothes - good looking for me that is!). I just enjoy the sight of beautiful shoes and bags but when the temptation is too great to handle, there will be a hole in my purse. That is the price I have to pay to look/pretend to look good or up-to-date (hey, i'm no dinosaur but my fashion sense is OK!). But usually I'll just lurk around until the shops have their annually/quarterly/half-yearly/monthly sales ;). Who doesn't love sales? HAHA!

Uh huh. I'm going for shoes shopping next week. HAHA.

Entrepreneurship DOWN! WOO HOO! One more subject to go..

And today I got the shock of my life when a policeman knocked on the car window. Damnit. Can't you see we were waiting for someone? Shessh. Seriously Mr Policeman, ever heard of heart attack?! My life span has been cut short of 3 years. Yea. Feeling guilty now?!

Dragon-I Xiao Long Bao

I FINALLY LEARNT HOW TO EAT A XIAO LONG BAO! YEAH ME!

4 easy and safe steps to eat XLB
1. Just make a hole on the xiao long bao. (Preferably the top or the side)
2. Drink the soup in the XLB. (Best part!)
3. Put the whole XLB into the mouth. (Or you can take small bites.. depending on your apetite and the size of your mouth)
4. Chew before swallowing it or you will choke & die and make sure you're not laughing while you're eating cause it may kill you too.

Dear ZiZi, thank you for fetching me home, thank you for telling me stories and most of all THANK YOU for teaching me the right way to eat xaio long bao. And dang, ZiZi for cursing my xiao long bao. Never knew I was so jakun wahahahaha. So saddening that it could actually be funny wu wu wu ha ha ha.

I'm glad you didn't get lost! Ha ha. & I have no idea when I'm gonna wear my newly bought earrings. 5 pairs of earrings. *faints* I think I have an earring collection and I need to hide them from my mum. Period.

And yea.. you owe me RM100. HAHA.

PS: The XLB vege looks fresher than the one in the picture. I just randomly stole it from someone. HAHA.

EDIT: Hmph. I broke 2 out of 5 earrings. Frustrated and sad ok! I will be staying away from cheap earrings now! I've learnt my lesson & I think my XLB dish looked more appetizing than the one in the picture. I wanna try the 'Zhu Zhai Bao' next. ;D

Oh my. My latest obsession with Jeffree Star. lipstick + love.

Jeffree Star!

Who would ever thought that the movie "Meet The Spartans" can actually lead someone (..maybe someone like ME in particular that has too much free time on hand even though I'm sitting for my Finals!) to unearth JSTAR's myspace. Ha ha. No no. Now there, I'm still sane. I'm addicted to him and his songs but not to the point of worshiping the ground he walks on. Ha ha.

Oh btw, he's way betta than Chris Crocker. Like serious, Chris Crocker, internet celebrity? Meh, JSTAR is not an ordinary person. Hm.. how should I put it. Internet (myspace) celeb, singer, model & a hawt cross dresser. Yeap. Cross dresser. Gay. Haa.

This is a seriously unhealthy addiction.

PS: I love that that Fuschia JSTAR WILL KILL YOU or JSTAR ICE SCREAM shirt.

OH GOD PLEASE LET ME PASS FM!

Don't let me go through another semester of unbearable torture. I did not get to sleep and eat the night before exam. My heart went "thump thump thump" the whole night. I thought I was gonna get a heart attack or something.

But I had A&W waffles today. I think I'll be OK for now.

I'M MISS BLUR QUEEN TODAY. :(

but anyway, I just handed up my LAST ASSIGNMENT for this semester! I'm freaking happy!

I felt like a dummy cause I kept sending Wei Ling short sms-es saying stupid things like "I'm gonna be late today" or "I'm super late. Is the teacher still in class?" when there isn't any FM classes today. She was shocked and didn't know how to reply to my questions. Sweat. I got my timetable mixed up and I missed that Entrepreneurship tutorial today. I also almost went into the wrong class. I kinda got freaked out cause I thought my Entrepreneurship's presentation would be starting from today onwards and I totally missed that bloody class.

Talking about presentation, we have to present to the whole class during lecture. I would be like facing around 64 students or more? OMG! Shit shit. I think I could drop dead right now! AHHH~~~ *screams hysterically* The probability of getting chosen during that 3-hour lecture is 1/3. It's relatively high to me.

Oh god why?

Put that thing back where it came from or so help me... so help me, so help me and cut.

You wanna to be on top?

Sounds familiar to you? I can't believe I'm addicted to America's Next Top Model aka ANTM. I'm not sure how this show ended into my must-watch list but damn it is addictive. I'm so drawn to it.

ANTM Cycle 9 just ended on Channel V. They are way too skinny for my liking but I don't care !

I LOVE HEATHER and CHANTAL! I LOVE MS. JAY's AFRO !

Heather is SO BEAUTIFUL in pictures but SO STIFF in real life. She needs to work on her personality. Chantal is wayyy TOO CUTE and SEXAY. I loved their gargoyle and China photoshoots. They looked stunning.

ANTM 9

Too bad, this cycle was won by Saleisha. I don't really like her. A lil' fake. Bleh. I wished it was won by Chantal.

NOW GIVE ME ANTM CYCLE 10!

I know I'm being very random.

Anyway, I found out that drinking alcohol (e.g. iichiko rice wine, SOHO cherry flavored alcohol - 24% ~ 25%) before starting on Financial Management is VERY GOOD. It ERASES the HEADACHE. But the bad thing is, it made me stayed up ALL NIGHT. I have huge panda eyes during last Saturday's class.

Anyway ZiZi, since you're reading this, I MISS YOU SO MUCH. Thank you for the offline message. He he<33
